Ep 33: Reducing the achievement gap with Julia Sun

I founded First Gen Support to close the achievement gap among first-generation, low-income students. It is an information hub where we research and share opportunities and advice for FGLI high school students, especially underclassmen. Students can also share their stories to uplift one another. We host panels and events, forming study groups to build community, and inviting college students to inspire the next generation of students to be the first in their family to go to college. What I do as executive director/editor in chief:
- Oversee all operations
- Edit and approve content and graphics
- Build up team leaders and lead initiatives
- Arrange partnerships
- Grow our reach (from 0 followers to 6000+ followers)
